Updated 09.18.18
If you don't have the most recent version of Java, you may need to install a plug-in before the Address Book Importer applet will open. This is usually indicated by a toolbar message after choosing the type of address book you want to open. Occasionally, no message will appear but the system will appear to "spin" without progressing. Regardless, find the solution below based on your internet browser version. Don't know your Internet Browser version? Click here.
If you have enabled iCloud two-factor authentication, instead of your iCloud password, a NewPanda-app-specific password must be created to access your iCloud contacts.
1. On the iCloud login screen, click the Sign in to your Apple ID account page link:
2. Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
3. Click the Generate Password link under SECURITY / APP-SPECIFIC PASSWORDS:
4. Enter "NewPanda" as a label, then click CREATE
5. An app-specific password will be generated for you. Save this password; you cannot change it, but you will need it in the future.
6. Return to the iCloud Sign In dialogue box within the NewPanda app. Enter your iCloud Username and your iCloud NEWPANDA-SPECIFIC password. Click the Login button. You will now be able to see your iCloud contacts.

Also note: during import you may see a potentially dangerous request message: These are due to potentially dangerous characters in your address book that are not recognized by our system, most likely like "<" symbols with additional characters on the right, "?" "%" or other symbols. Records with characters may not be imported; you may first want to scan through your address book and clean up any records with characters before importing records into NewPanda.
