Updated 01.05.12
The Unsubscribe links in each eMessage you send are customized and unique to the original recipient. This allows us to immediately comply with the Federal CAN-SPAM Act through an automated process we've developed, rather than manually (meaning people sitting at computers and clicking an unsubscribe button 24/7 - expensive AND boring!!).
The Federal CAN-SPAM Act requires unsubscribed email addresses to be removed immediately and permanently from our "send" lists. As an email service provider, if we don't comply we can get in all kinds of trouble with the different Internet Service Providers AND the government, and no one wants that!
If one of your recipients forwards an eMessage, and the next recipient clicks the "unsubscribe" button, the originally-intended recipient will unwittingly be unsubscribed.
If that happens, the original recipient (that accidentally got unsubscribed) can email you OR help@newpanda.com FROM the unsubscribed email address to request to be re-subscribed. If the individual emails you, just forward the request to us and we'll resubscribe them, then let you know when the process is complete.
