it later in your reports). Click Get Started
3. Click the Create Mobile Message option from the menu bar to bypass creation of an email
message.
If you want to create an email message in conjunction with your SMS message, view the
instructional page in this chapter for the type of email message you'd like to create. You'll
create the SMS portion of your message after you create your email message.
4. Enter your message in the text field. Note that there is a character limit for SMS Mobile Messages.
The handy character counter will indicate the number of allowable characters remaining.
5. Use the Insert Short Link feature to have NewPanda auto-create a mobile web page for your
message. Or, use the Insert Your Own URL field to enter the URL you'd like your SMS recipients
to visit for more information. The URL will apply to your character limit.
6. Scroll down to select your Mobile recipients.
7. a. Click Save & Continue to create a Social Update for your message, OR
b. Scroll to the top of the page and click Schedule & Send to skip Social Updates
8. Schedule your message: choose to Save as a Draft, Send Now, or Schedule Delivery. (If you
have not selected recipients for your message yet, you can only Save as Draft.)
9. Click Send My Messages. Note that when you click the Send My Messages button, all events will
be sent at their individually scheduled times.
NOTE that when scheduling your message for a later date, you MUST activate the Schedule
Delivery button to activate the calendar. If you schedule a future date, then click the
Send Now radio button, the scheduled date will be removed, and your message will
be sent immediately. Sent messages cannot be recalled or undone.
