Email Messages
Every email message sent from the NewPanda system is required to include an unsubscribe link so that recipients can opt out if they no longer wish to hear from you. NewPanda lets you export your Opt Out data to sync with other programs you may use.
You also have the ability to manually unsubscribe individual contacts from NewPanda eMessages. Occasionally, a recipient will call or reply to an email they get from you to request to be unsubscribed, rather than using the Unsubscribe link in your eMessage. In these cases, you must manage those opt outs. Here's how:
If you see a message like the one below, you won't be able to update the contact's opt-out status, because it's against Federal Can Spam regulations. When a recipient (the "contact") unsubscribes, it's permanent, and neither you nor we can change it. If the contact has changed their mind, they can email you or help@newpanda.com FROM the unsubscribed email address, with a simple message: "Please resubscribe me to emails from <your name>." This will allow us to keep a permanent record of their request in case we're asked for proof later.
SMS (Direct Text) Messages
To prevent text abuse and protect our customers and us from getting into trouble with the FCC, by default your contacts are not able to receive text messages via the NewPanda app until you subscribe them. We STRONGLY ADVISE you to use our handy "send confirmation request" feature to request permission to send text messages before texting your contacts. Remember, only contacts for whom you have entered a valid Mobile Phone Number (in the Mobile Phone field) will receive text messages.
